Materials Handling Equipment on exhibit at Solutrans 2019 – EurExpo, Lyon, France The biennial commercial vehicle and logistics solutions show broke all previous attendance records (+50,000) with visitor numbers up 11% compared to 2017. Jarlath Sweeney was there for Handling Network. The show also gathered 900 exhibitors and brands, an increase of 47%, of which one-third were new or first time exhibitors.

Hiab, part of the Cargotec group is a leader when it comes to on-road load handling equipment. On display was a selection from its broad range of materials handling equipment including cranes, hoists and forklifts (Moffett). Also exhibited was a trailer tug/shunter from its Kalmar range.

Kingl ifte r This member of the Dutch Telberg Group specialises in truck-mounted forklifts (TMF). It is part of a parent company that has 2,700 employees and is represented in 12 countries selling products to over 100 countries. Turnover for 2019 was over €945m. The MC TMF operates in tight spaces and yet has a 2,500 kg lifting capacity.
