that this tour does not include entrance fees or guided tours to any attractions, to add these please view the two sightseeing packages on the next page After a few days relaxing by the sea, the next part of your holiday will see you glide gently down the mighty Nile, exploring ancient sites and soaking up more sun along the way. The good ship MS Jamila (Thursday departure) will be your vessel for this exciting cruise, and each day will expose you to something new and interesting.
DAY 6 - LUXOR This morning you will sail to Esna - home to the stunning Temple of Khnum. The ship docks in the city, allowing you to explore the ancient site that was built to honour the god of creation and the Nile, Khnum. After this, in the afternoon there is an optional city tour to the heart of Luxor.
DAY 1 - LUXOR Setting off on the 5-star luxury MS Jamila, over-nighting on board in Luxor.
DAY 7 - LUXOR, WEST BANK The last stop on the tour, and by no means the least. Today, you’ll be taking in the spectacular sights that abound in the Valley of the Kings. The burial site for numerous Egyptian pharaohs, this area is packed with both history and myths. The tour will include visits to the Hatshepsut Temple and the majestic Colossi of Memnon. There is an optional evening visit to the sound and light show at Karnak Temple.
DAY 2 - LUXOR, EAST BANK Visit during the morning to the ancient Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Sail to Edfu after lunch, and overnight in Edfu. DAY 3 - ASWAN See the Ptolemaic temples of Kom Ombo and Sobek Temple, after sailing for most of the morning. Continue sailing to the ancient city Aswan. DAY 4 - ASWAN Today the ship calls at the Philea Island where the temple to the Goddess Isis dominates the landscape. Next on the agenda is a visit to another majestic construction, the mighty High Dam. You’ll also have the choice between a free afternoon in Aswan, an optional excursion to a Nubian village, or an optional camel ride along the Nile. Overnight on board in Aswan. DAY 5 - EDFU Carved out of the rocks in Southern Egypt the impressive Abu Simbel Temples were built to not only honour the gods, but also to elevate King Rameses to a similar status. There is an optional visiting to this site, after which the tour continues to the old city of Edfu. Overnight on board in Edfu.

Cruise MS JAMILA – Thursday Departure
A 5-star cruising experience is to be expected aboard the MS Jamila. High-class facilities and a luxurious atmosphere make a stay aboard this cruise-ship unforgettable, offering a prestigious way to sail down the longest, and one of the most popular rivers in the world – the mighty Nile. Facilities on board include a reception and lounge area with a panoramic view, with a library part of the main lounge area. Guests are invited to laze about on the sun-deck, where a swimming pool and poolside bar can provide hours of enjoyment and relaxation. The lower-deck restaurant serves up excellent local and international cuisine, and a dedicated spa centre is on hand to offer up a range of treatments and massages.
Stay in a A DELUXE MAIN DECK CABIN Stylish and contemporary, the Deluxe Cabins features large panoramic windows from where guests can take in the breath taking views from the Main Deck as they sail along the Nile. Cabins are fully air conditioned, and come fitted with a safe, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer and more. A separate en-suite bathroom is part of each Cabin bedroom.

Your stay aboard the MS Jamila on the Nile Cruise is on a full board basis, meaning all your meals – daily breakfast, lunch and dinner – are taken care of. These will be served in the main restaurant, which specialises in local delicacies, as well as international favourites.
