Paris Paris is the perfect melange of French chic and romanticism. Beautifully integrating its rich cultural importance with history, wine, food, modern vibes and more food and wine. The capital has been the home of artists, writers, exiles, bohemians and libertines for centuries and has today evolved into a striking multicultural mosaic of a modern city with plenty of corners, canvasses and cuisine to explore. The life of the city springs eternal from its sources of romantic streets, wide boulevards and strands that follow the River Seine. Throughout these metropolitan paths you’ll find locals enjoying a drink and a chat at one of the numerous cafés. These quaint hubs are great either as places to grab a morning coffee before diving into everything that the city has to offer, or perfect destinations for enjoying a well-deserved glass of wine as the sun sets over the city. Paris was redesigned in the nineteenth century and along its linear boulevards and squares, you’ll find several architectural and historical monuments and sights. Apart from visits to the main attractions of Paris, such as the iconic steel monolith of the Eiffel Tower, The Arc de Triomphe, the fantastic paintings of Monet and van Gogh at the Musée d’Orsay, and the gargoyles perched next to the spires of the Notre Dame Cathedral, the city has plenty of gems hiding in plain sight around every corner. See the Louvre and the Sacré-Coeur lit up at night, gaze across the vast city from the top of the Montparnasse Tower and listen to the leaves rustling against a gentle breeze at the Pere Lachaise cemetery or the Jardin du Luxembourg. Spend an afternoon exploring the adorable narrow streets in the Montmartre-, Belleville- and Le Marais areas, and don’t forget to sample the local street food, a delicious reminder of France’s great cultural and gastronomical allure. In Paris you can lose yourself in times gone by in one street before immersing yourself in modern experiences around the next corner. The profusion of things on offer in the city means that you can make your stay exactly what you want it to be. Bon appétit!
