Novelties Autumn 2012 The sensation for the N gauge:
The first steam locomotive with DCC sound and flickering fire box – Fleischmann‘s class 01.10 of the DRB! N
Model: A digital sound module creates an authentic background sound of the three-cylinder express train locomotive. Pure model train delight: During the coal shovelling the illuminated fire box flickers. Prototype: Most impressive was the diameter of the driving wheels with 2.000 mm. To reduce the running resistance the vehicles were equipped with an aero dynamic streamlining that came down to only 400 mm above the upper edge of the tracks. Some of these proud locomotives are now preserved in museums for future generations. Sometimes they are still used in front of special trains.
