TIPS FROM THE PRO SELECTING THE PERFECT COLOR PALETTE

Never one to shy away from a little drama, color palette aficionado, Nicole White of Nicole White Designs shares her Sherwin Williams selects for 2021’s hautest color story.

Urbane Bronze: “Love the moody vibes of this color. It’s dark but not as overpowering as a black paint so it’s an easy choice for projects.”

Fashionable Gray: “Always a favorite gray for me and one of my go to neutrals. We needed this to transition from the moody vibe of the Urbane Bronze.”

Cultured Pearl: “As dramatic as our designs tend to be, I always try to add moments of softness and this selection was made with that in mind. Think of your paint selections like a story. Everyone can’t be the main protagonist, but everyone can have a key role.”

Demure: “It’s the perfect foil to the drama of Forward Fuschia. Demure is that friend who will calm you down, and she functions like that in this color palette.”

Forward Fuschia: “You should know I live for positive drama, and this color is drama times ten. I’m a big believer in having a wow moment in a space, and this color achieves that.”

Settle on your story. What do you want these colors to say in your space? Once you decide on that story, choose the lead paint as you would a lead actor or actress.
