Chipps (B) commemorates OSB as a trendy floor, wall, or ceiling finish
The parquet market now has a new sort of floor in the form of Chipps. Chipps is based on OSB panels and commemorates this material completely, where the emphasis is on offering a trendy finished product which can be installed not only on the floor, but even against the wall or on the ceiling. What is revolutionary about Chipps is that the classic building panel makes OSB extremely trendy. The name refers to the ‘wood chips’ which make up an OSB panel. The baseline, Tasty Wood Boards, refers to the trend story of Chipps, which comprises six collections with 40 different designs in total. The new collection is designed by Roel Geraerts, the former manager of Z-Parket (Genk (B), in collaboration with his partner Romina De Giorgi. Chipps has a total of seven finish coats, has tongue and groove on the four sides, and can be fitted floating or without adhesive. This low-maintenance floor is suitable for various sorts of rooms and can even be used as a temporary structure.
