Reflection: This exercise was really powerful and has made me gain a lot of clarity on who I am and how I need to spend my time to make a positive impact in the world. Getting feedback from others about what they perceived as my unique talent was eye-opening and made me realize how special some of my abilities are and that I need to treat them as such. I took my capacity of learning, assimilating knowledge, and adapting to situations for granted before, and did not realize that others don’t have the same gifts. I also realized that there are some things that I do with my time that may not be aligned with my unique talent and need to be adjusted or eliminated from my daily activities. I now have a clearer idea of how I can bring value and be useful to the people around me and that feels great and empowering.
