HUELLAS is Gelabert Soto’s first solo exhibition in Havana after a long absence from Cuba’s exhibition spaces. The show presents four pieces–sculptures and installations–that play with the simulation and manipulation of reality. Through these works, the artist explores historical and social themes, such as destruction, pollution and waste, which have become important issues from an ecological and environmental point of view in modern society.
Gelabert Soto is one of the artists invited to participate in the 11th Havana Biennial 2012.
