Rime Arodaky

After graduating from l’École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris, it wasn’t long before Rime Arodaky started working as a junior designer in reputable fashion houses such as, Sonia Rykiel and Dice Kayek. In 2010, Rime started sharing her wish lists, inspirations and first creations, as well as her personal perception of weddings and marriage; which quickly made her blog ‘Lalovelist’ an instant success. ‘Lalovelist’ shared Rime’s vision of the liberated bride who’s sexy, edgy, as well as, modern. Rime Arodaky aims at breaking the barrier of what a traditional bridal world is supposed to look like, one creation at a time. She founded the Maison with the help of her team in 2011 in the heart of Paris, her hometown. Rime’s campaigns speak to women who challenge the status quo, and believe in the emancipation of the millennial woman. Inspired by icons from the 70s such as Jane Birkin and Romy Schneider, as well as, designers like Yves Saint-Laurent and Azzeddine Alaïa, Rime has always challenged the image of the innocent, offense-less bride and turned hers into a wild femme.

The Rime Arodaky show at NYBFW was truly unique and Florida Bride Magazine was there to bring you this collection.

Disheveled hair, no bouquet, barefoot & fierce… The Rime Arodaky bride is Rock’n’roll yet sophisticated, mixing French savoir-faire and top-notch quality. The Maison rapidly became a household name in the wedding industry, because of its innovation and forward thinking. Since 2015, Maison Rime Arodaky has embarked on a new journey by developing prêt-à-porter collections destined for young women who have a zest for life, and wishing to extend their wedding experience to include honeymoons, rehearsals, brunch… Rime Arodaky prêt-à-porter collections are exclusively sold on the website, and at selected online retailers such as Shopbop and Netà-Porter.
