The Marchesa Spring 2018 collection premiered at New York Bridal Fashion Week and our Editor Grace Crompton was there to bring you all the fabulous new looks.
We take you behind the scenes of this on of a kind runway presentation. Marchesa Bridal Spring 2018 collection is a promenade along the leafy hedge-lined pathways of Castle Howard, a prominent brick-walled garden in England. A paradise of intoxicating florals, the collection is rooted in the serene, yet vibrant beauty of the majestic garden.
Enchanting ruffle bows and feathered flower details embellish open-back gowns and dropped-waist bodices. Silver beaded threadwork and 3D pearl embroidery are layered over romantic Chantilly lace underlay and delicate illusion tulle. Engineered corded lace and shirred tulle ruffles add texture to off-theshoulder gowns and cocktail dresses. Strapless fit-andflare gowns are crafted in silk faille and stretch crepe while ball gowns are draped in taffeta and feature constructed lace bodices. Classic silhouettes take new form with bell sleeves and detachable embroidered tulle capes and overskirts.
