Summer camps at Nathan Benderson Park are a great way for your child to learn new skills for a lifetime, make new friends, and make lifelong memories. There’s no better place to spend the summer! Our traditional Water Adventure Camp includes stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking, and more! Campers will learn the basics of each discipline along with boating safety. On-land instruction and safety requirements accompany all activities, and campers will be issued PFDs for on-water activities. The camp has full-day and half-day options. Our new Learn To Row and Sail Camp gives campers the chance to learn the precise skills required to row a single scull, while in the afternoons, they’ll learn the basics of sailing in their own boats! Archery and Freshwater Fishing return for 2022 as a morning-only camp. Under the instruction of National Archery Assn. certified instructors, campers will learn to be independent, safe archers. When it’s time for rods and reels, kids will learn basic skills, types of tackle, casting, bait and more, both on land and on water. They’ll also learn boating safety before they take to the water in small vessels to fish! Our NBP Ultimate Camp is back again — it’s archery and freshwater fishing in the morning and Water Adventure Camp in the afternoon.
