THE WATER SCHOOL
The comprehensive nature of The Water School at FGCU allows us to focus on key areas critical to our water-driven world: climate change, natural resources, ecosystem health and well-being, restoration and remediation. With 400 acres of protected habitat and LEED-certified buildings, FGCU is an environmental lab with sustainability at the core of its mission. This new, state-of-the-art facility expands FGCU’s resources for teaching and researching solutions.

GO AND WORK OUT
The University Recreation & Wellness Center is next to South Village. It’s a 50,000-square-foot building offering a wide range of amenities. Two indoor courts that can be used for basketball, volleyball, badminton or pickleball. A strength and conditioning room, two studios for fitness classes and a 6,000 sq. ft. outdoor RecDeck. The cardio deck on the second floor has proven to be a student favorite, with machines looking over a million-dollar view of the campus wetlands.

FGCU administers $30 million in scholarships and waivers every year. You may qualify for more than one based on academic achievements, test scores or financial need. Apply early — scholarships are competitive, and most are awarded early in the admission cycle. Complete your FAFSA (fafsa.gov) ASAP.
} National Merit Scholars can qualify for the total cost of attendance (in-state student).
} FGCU merit scholarships range from $3,000 (President’s Silver Award) to $15,000 (Green & Blue Director’s Award) per year up to four years.
