Florida Gulf Coast University is excited to welcome you to campus for the kickoff of our 25th Anniversary celebration. Experience our incredible campus – learn, explore and discover with us – and find ways to join us all throughout the year. This daylong open-house will coincide with our Eagle Expo for prospective students and Homecoming for Eagle alumni, along with hundreds of events sure to engage our entire Southwest Florida community. Dining South Village has lots of options for food choices at the SoVi Dining Hall and SoVi C-Store. North Lake Village has waterfront dining at The Boardwalk — pizza, sandwiches, burgers and Azul’s Brewhouse. Inside the Cohen Student Union is the Food Court including Einstein Bros.® Bagels, Chick-fil-A ®, 239 Burger Bar, Jamba and Brahma Express. The Marketplace in Howard Hall and The Marketplace @ The Link (including Dunkin’®) have multiple food options, including Boar’s Head® sandwiches and grab-and-go food, such as salads, sandwiches and snacks. Starbucks is located in the Bradshaw Library. For hours of operation for dining locations, please view the website. Most events will take place outdoors, and masks are encouraged for indoor activities. Please reference the latest COVID-19 guidelines for Florida Gulf Coast University at: FGCU.edu.

Restrooms All campus buildings will be open with restroom facilities. Parking There are convenient, color-coded parking garages (PG) and various parking lots (P) offering free parking. Campus Shuttles Shuttles run continuously throughout the day to all of the campus neighborhoods. The Water School at Florida Gulf Coast University is a collaborative effort, connecting research and science in Southwest Florida. With a variety of integral partnerships throughout the SWFL region, the impact is felt through student and faculty research, internships and service-learning hours. FGCU alumni continue these partnerships after graduation while faculty and staff serve as board members with our partners. Through close collaboration, FGCU continues to build our commitment to stewardship and conservation.

CORKSCREW REGIONAL ECOSYSTEM WATERSHED (CREW)

CREW straddles Lee and Collier counties and provides natural flood protection, water filtration and vital aquifer recharge. It also serves as an important wildlife corridor and as an environmental education fieldclassroom for all ages. With many distinctive natural communities— including marsh, cypress and maple swamp, oak hammock and pine flatwoods — CREW provides crucial habitat for many of Florida’s native wildlife, including the swallow-tailed kite, black bear and Florida panther.
