Three Ways to Boost QSR Hiring Strategy

t’s no secret that 2020 highly impacted the entire hourly workforce and how we hire people. Turnover rates in restaurants have reached a new high at more than 140%. Restaurant owners are having a hard time getting employees who left the industry to come back, and when they are ready to re-enter the workforce, they are applying for five or six jobs at a time. And because restaurants are understaffed, GMs are spending time covering shifts instead of actively hiring, growing the team or improving the customer experience.
