Acknowledge and Accept what you can and cannot do.
I ask myself: What can I do about what is in front of me? What can I do, and what can I not do?
Instead of focusing on what someone else should have done or could have done in this situation, I acknowledged and accepted that they were not going to do it and really, they were not able to handle the task at hand. And even though I had a history with the individuals who triggered me, I acknowledged and accepted the reality of the circumstances without giving power to negativity. I was determined to control my thoughts to not allow my thoughts to control me
