This soup was handed down to my mother by her mother, her sisters, and their families. It is a heart-warming soup for those cold winter days or nights in Melbourne. It got better with age, so making a big pot of this soup was a must!
Ingredients
500g gravy beef handful soup mix handful of celery, chopped handful of carrot, grated 1 beef stock cube 1 packet chicken noodle soup 2L water 3 shallots splash of worcestershire sauce

Throw all ingredients together in a big pot and simmer on stove for an hour, approximately. Serve with toast or crusty bread.
