Founded by then, 12-year-old, Kent Kolstad in 1999, Livewire has provided world-class live event audio, video, lighting, staging, scenery, and streaming to the region for decades. Originally based in Alexandria, MN, Kolstad moved the business to its current home in Fargo, ND in 2006. Today, the Livewire team consists of 44 employees with clients across the United States.

Livewire creates stunning and impactful event experiences for nationallyknown clients like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, as well as locally-known organizations such as the BismarckMandan Chamber of Commerce, the University of Mary, Lignite Energy Council, and the State of North Dakota.
