Northern Crane & Equipment was founded by Patrick Meier when he saw an unfulfilled need in field crane service. Located on Revere Drive in Bismarck, the team at Northern Crane & Equipment offers a variety of services for equipment that lifts, picks, or carries a load. From cranes and aerial lifts to engines, hoists, and compressors, the team does it all. Their services include inspections, repairs, and sales. When inspections are completed and repairs are required, Northern Crane & Equipment can do the repair if the customer desires.

This past year, Northern Crane & Equipment has become an authorized service center for JLG equipment, which includes scissor lifts and telehandlers. While Northern Crane & Equipment provides service to North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Eastern Montana, and Wyoming, they are proud to be located in the Bismarck-Mandan community.

“The Bismarck-Mandan area is where I grew up and I can’t imagine being anywhere else,” says founder, Patrick

Meier. “The central location of Bismarck is an ideal setting for a service-based company.”
