As the Service Shop Leader at SCHEELS, Rafe Wehri is an expert problem solver. What makes Rafe so passionate about his position is the challenge each day brings.

“I enjoy problem-solving. Whether it’s maintenance or rebuilding bikes and equipment, there’s always something new to learn.”

Rafe has played an instrumental role in the Service Shop, being a part of the team that was nominated by Trek as one of the "Top 10 Best Trek Bike Shops" in the nation. Being part of a team is important to Rafe. “Over the 16 years of working at SCHEELS, I have been able to learn from others, teach others, and build relationships with the customers and team members from SCHEELS.”

Rafe enjoys being a part of the community and making a difference through United Way, as well as volunteering his time and talent, tuning up and servicing bikes for Team SCHEELS Triathlons and Races.

“One of my passions is riding my bike down one of my favorite trails, River Road because of the scenery.”
