Recently, FIBT welcomed Trent Sorbe to the executive team, as FIBT’s first Chief Payments Officer. Trent brings 30 years of banking and financial technology experience, most of which has come in the Sioux Falls area. Trent will apply this experience to leading both Kotapay and FIBT’s payment card divisions, with a particular focus on expansion into new forms of payment innovation, including real-time payments, consumer-focused cardbased payments, and virtual/mobile payments—both locally and nationally.
