THE McCOYS
ABOUT THE MCCOYS
The McCoys are a very busy family of four with something always going on. If they do have downtime, you can catch them participating in fun activities like watching movies, bowling, golfing, or enjoying a local restaurant.
Laila, the seven-year-old who is the youngest of the bunch keeps the family on their toes with her spirit, passion for singing, and love of slime. She is in the church choir and practices at American Gold Gymnastics.
Samson and Christina, who met in college, are busy tag-teaming their children's activities and excelling in their professions. Christina works as the Fargo Market Director of Corporate Sales for KAJ Hospitality and Samson, with his master's in social work and clinical license, is a social worker for Southeast Human Service Center.

"We love the game room, the FunZone. And, kids eat free on Tuesday and love the chicken! We eat at the same booth every time and go every other week. We try to go later in the evening, around 7:30 p.m. because it's less crowded and the kids can have a lot of fun with the games!"

Osaka
"My kids love the games at Space Aliens and Pizza Ranch, but they really love Osaka and the interactive experience they get at the hibachi grill. They love sushi, seafood, and seeing their food made and having a say in what they eat."
HuHot Mongolian Grill
"It's a similar thing with HuHot, they get to see their food be made and they get to play a part in it."
Other Recommendations
Skyzone
"Our kids love Skyzone so much that they have a membership. They have gotten to know the staff and the other kids with memberships and it's great exercise for them! We like to go on Saturdays when they have Glow Nights. If you go to this, get there at 7:30 p.m. because it runs from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and they cap entrance at a certain point."
Olivet
"My best advice is to put your kids in activities and church! We have met so many other parents in the activities and our amazing church, Olivet!"

Healing Art's Chiropractic
"We have been taking our kids to Dr. Paape since they were young. He would help with their sleeping problems and he is very helpful now that they are in athletics. We probably take them once a month."

Q&A
Do you have tips for finding good childcare in the area? Are there any places you would recommend?
"Our kids were very fortunate to attend The Learning Patch Child Care Center when they were growing up in the area! It's a family organization that has been around for over 40 years that preps kids for school and life lessons. It's a one-of-akind learning center with amazing teachers!"
When you get away from the family, what are your favorite things to do for date nights?
"We love trying new restaurants in town for date night or going to concerts! My husband Sam is an amazing singer and we also like karaoke downtown. We also enjoy Comedy at the Cellar downtown—it's a very intimate atmosphere."
