This was an invaluable opportunity for geographers to meet, discuss and share ideas across Asia. The idea was to share expertise about blended learning.

Case studies were primarily led by teachers in SCIE, Shenzhen and also Tim Spear at Regents Pattaya. Topics covered included “Flipped learning”, Virtual fieldwork where land use data could be collected, “PairDeck” software and an interesting session on stretching the more able through use of the Financial Times online.

Participants shared resources and there was time given for discussing Blended Learning techniques that teachers found effective.
