The binoculars are also made with a robust, impact-resistant rubber coating and are weather-resistant to be used in the toughest situations. The type of laser used in Focus Advance is harmless to the eye so it can be used in competitions where there are spectators. Focus Advance 8x42 RF 1800m has good optics with 8x magnification and a field of view of 122 meters at 1000 meters (7 degrees). Exquisite multi-layer anti-reflective treatment gives a contrast-rich, sharp, vivid image even in difficult light conditions. Twist-lock eyecups and variable pupillary distance (56-75mm) makes it easy to adjust the binoculars to every user, including those who wear glasses. Thanks to the double dioptres, even those with differing eyesight can have perfect focus with each eye. Distance measurement is done with the help of a laser that provides fast and accurate measurements from up to 1800 meters away. The information is displayed in the image shown in the binoculars. It is easy to use. Simply hold down the On/Measure button. You can also get continuous measurements, which can be very useful â&#x20AC;&#x201C; particularly if the target is moving. To save battery power, the range meter automatically shuts off a short while after releasing the button. Range meter functions The Focus Advance 8x42 RF 1800m has four measurement programs: 1. STANDARD Shows distance to target (sightline), angle and horizontal distance (angle adjusted distance). 2. RAIN Used on rainy days at distances longer than 30 meters. In such instances the binoculars emit a more powerful laser beam that passes through the raindrops. Shows the distance, angle and height difference between the horizon and the sightline to the target. Can also be used to measure the height of, for example, a tree or a building. 3. FIRST (1st) Prioritises measurement of objects in the foreground: e.g. a check mark on a meadow or a golf flag. When the binoculars have found an object in the foreground, a ring is lit around the symbol ”1st” in the eyepiece and simultaneously emits a short vibration. 4. LAST Prioritises objects in the background. Good when, for example, there are bushes or branches in the way of the target. The binoculars filter these out and look for the longest distance. When the binoculars have found the correct distance, a ring lights up around the ”LAST” symbol in the eyepiece and simultaneously emits a short vibration.

The Focus In Sight Range Finder is a high quality range meter with laser technology that has a working range of 4 to 600 meters with a measurement accuracy of +/- 1 meter. The PRO model also gives you the possibility of measuring the angle between the horizon and the measuring point and can indicate horizontal distance (angle adjusted distance) and height to the target. It is a perfect aid to long-distance shooting in a variety of terrain or when you just want to find out the hight of a hill or tree! In Sight has outstanding optics with a 6x magnification, 21 mm focal length and BaK-4 prisms which, together with the advanced multi-layer anti-reflective coating (FMC) gives a precise, clear image even in difficult light conditions. The eyepiece has an eye relief of 16mm, which makes it easy to use even with glasses. The range meter has seven different programmes: 1. Range meter The standard mode where the displayed distance refers to the straight line of sight to the object . 2. Range meter for small objects Indicated by a golf flag in the display. DIGISCOPING Document what you see in your binocular or spotting scope with your compact camera. Focus CPA universal adapter makes it easy. Mount Focus CPA around the eyepiece with the clamping ring, (eyepiece between 4260 mm). Turn on the camera and mount it in the correct slot in the adapter, to get the right distance to the eyepiece. Adjust the height of the bracket, so the camera lens is at the center of the eyepiece. Use the zoom on the camera to remove the vignetting. Mount cable release over of the shutter. When not using the camera, fold it away and wait for the right moment. Recommended for camera with 3-5x zoom lens.

Take pictures with your smartphone through your binoculars or spotting scope. Focus PPA is available in three sizes for eyepieces between 34-61 mm and phones up to 72 mm width. Simple installation of the smartphone: Loosen the clamping brackets. Insert the phone into position and center the camera lens, squeeze the clamping brackets and locks. Screw the adapter into place. If needed, use any of the three supplied distance strips with adhesive backing to reach the right diameter for your eyepiece. Slide the adapter on to the eyepiece and lock the adapter with the 4 screws. Start the camera, zoom to get rid of the black corners and take your picture.

COATING

Coated A thin anti-reflective coating (usually of magnesium fluorite) on one or more of the lens surfaces. FC - Fully Coating All air-to-glass surfaces are anti-reflective coated with a single-layer coating.

MC - Multi Coating One or more surfaces have anti-reflective multi-layer coatings. FMC - Fully Multi Coating All air-to-glass surfaces are anti-reflective multi-layer coated. Multiple coatings on all lens surfaces.

Phase Coating Phase correction coatings on the prism glass help keep light in correct color phases. These coatings are only needed on roof prism binoculars to enhance resolution, contrast, and color fidelity.

Dielectric Coating High-reflective coating in 72 layers to enhance light reflections. These are coatings found on roof prisms and are there to increase light reflectivity.
