Cadillac has revealed the 2025 OPTIQ, a reimagination of what entry into Cadillac luxury can be. OPTIQ will bookend the EV portfolio while remaining true to Cadillac's brand promise in a competitively priced luxury SUV It will join the growing Cadillac EV lineup, which also includes LYRIQ, ESCALADE IQ, CELESTIQ, and, next year, VISTIQ.
OPTIQ offers a sporty and youthful persona to the Cadillac EV portfolio. Seamlessly blending sophisticated surfacing and technology, the OPTIQ silhouette masterfully balances the visual agility of a fastback with distinctive Cadillac crossover EV styling.
Ambitiously proportioned wheels and tires pushed out to the corners of OPTIQ emphasize the athletic character and size of the vehicle.

In the Driver's Seat
The interior cabin experience was designed to be high-tech, welcoming, and connected.
OPTIQ packages interior spaciousness and luxury into a comfortable suite that includes illuminated décor and embellishments and a 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display with 9k resolution (projects over one billion colours). These add to the unique interior interpretation of Cadillac luxury, while the suite of in-vehicle technology features creates an intuitive experience.
A focus on innovative materials and a new approach to material application and placement create the most progressive Cadillac interior. OPTIQ's patterned accent fabric is woven from yarn made from 100% recycled materials. OPTIQ's PaperWood veneer is made up of equal parts of tulipwood and recycled newspaper.
Thrilling Yet Agile
OPTIQ will launch in standard dual motor AWD form, contributing to a fun and athletic drive experience. The 6-inch shorter wheelbase (compared to Cadillac LYRIQ) results in a more agile architecture.
OPTIQ's exceptional aerodynamic performance enables up to a Cadillac-estimated 482 km of driving range on a full charge. The revolutionary Ultium Platform and Ultium Drive units, along with low-rolling-resistance tires, also play an essential role in the impressive range of the vehicle. Several innovative solutions, such as a vented rear spoiler, diffusers, and other sculptural elements, enhance aerodynamics at the rear of the vehicle without compromising the striking SUV vehicle design.
OPTIQ includes an 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack with a standard dual motor all-wheel drive propulsion system that offers up to the Cadillac-estimated 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of instant torque.
At full charge, OPTIQ offers up to a Cadillac-estimated 482 km of range on a full charge DC fast charging can add up to 112 km of range in about 10 minutes, based on GM estimates.
New is a driver-controlled braking feature that allows the driver to slow down or stop the OPTIQ with a dedicated, pressure-sensitive paddle located on the steering wheel, and One-Pedal Driving allows the driver to slow down and stop the vehicle using only the accelerator under most driving conditions. The system also converts kinetic energy from the OPTIQ's forward momentum into electricity stored in the battery pack for future use.
A Dual-Level Charge Cord allows the driver to plug into an appliance-style four-pronged outlet (professional installation required) or a standard three-pronged outlet.
OPTIQ gives drivers the opportunity to switch between several Drive Modes, including Tour, used for everyday driving; Sport, for enhanced road driving and improved steering; Snow/Ice, to prevent wheel spin; and My Mode, which personalizes the driving experience, including braking responsiveness and enhanced steering feel.
Unique Exterior Design
The OPTIQ features a striking roof design that blends glass and sheet metal, creating an uninterrupted visual flow. This fixed-glass roof adds to the vehicle's sleek aesthetic and allows for an immersive driving experience for both the driver and passengers.
One of the standout design elements of the OPTIQ is its signature black crystal grille, which prominently showcases the Cadillac vertical signature. The grille incorporates a laser-etched pattern, exuding a sophisticated and high-tech aura. This attention to detail adds a touch of elegance to the vehicle's front end, making a powerful first impression.
The OPTIQ's rear quarter panel window design is truly unique. It utilizes a Cadillac-first precision pattern in acoustic laminate glass This design feature enhances the vehicle's visual appeal and pays homage to classic Cadillac styling with its graphic pattern, which aligns with the Mondrian crest.
Additionally, the OPTIQ boasts signature lighting choreography that adds a touch of luxury and elegance to the overall experience. When approaching or exiting the vehicle, the driver is greeted with a choreographed lighting sequence initiated by their key fob.
Interior Experience
The vehicle has Super Cruise capability, a driver assistance feature that utilizes high-definition GPS mapping, a driver attention system, lane-changing capabilities, a steering wheel light bar, and route planning.
The OPTIQ system includes advanced radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensor technology to enhance views, sensing, and monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings in various driving scenarios. Standard safety and driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Enhanced Automatic Parking, and Forward Collision Alert.
The infotainment system offers built-in compatibility with Google, which requires a subscription for full functionality and includes Google Maps and Google Assistant. Furthermore, the car consists of a standard 19-speaker AKG Audio System with Dolby Atmos, supporting 3D Surround Technology, and comes in two trims: Luxury and Sport.
