“小巴黎人 Bakery Café” is a bakery coffee shop that is designed in French salon style. This shop emphasizes using natural and real ingredient to make dishes, bread, pastry and drinks. Because of the focus groups of this shop are on salary men and family, we design the logo what is not complicated.

On package design, we use dark brown and uncoated gold to make that simple but high quality, in order to present the soul of this brand “pure and real”. Applying French poem “Paris est tout petit” on package layout to strengthen brand story and image.

Applying brown and black to present French salon style on store graphic design; gentle, simple but modern. For the sign design, I use aluminum board to cut them, in order to emphasis the high quality and matching the atmosphere from the French salon.

Using an impressive image of Paris to start the story of bookshelf barery shop; using brown and gold color to present the quality that 小巴 黎人 bakery café wants to express.

”晌午粄食” is a brand what emphasizes using real and pure material to produce Taiwan traditional rice cake. In the earlier period, in order to reserve paddy, Taiwanese used paddy to make salty or sweet cakes. The idea of this logo is inspired from the slice of rice cake, combining Chinese stamp style to create a new font to present traditional but simple concept.

This pattern is a nostalgic memory in some Taiwanese mind. In order to deliver owner's philosophy of Taiwan food what is simple and real to customer, applying old pattern of Taiwanese tile to design the business card to demonstrate "a real food should be from a kitchen not from a factory."

In order to express pure and handmade style on the products of 晌午粄食, using freehand drawing style to show five flavor of rice cakes such as carrot rice cake, red bean rice cake, sugar cane rice cake, peanut rice cake and dried carrot rice cake. Applying the particular feature of each flavor to design the pattern; using simple outline of shape to make people having deep memory on the product and realizing where are the ingredient from.

“Meal 米兒” is a pet food brand what was build by me and my team member when we studied in UK. The concept of this brand is from our pets, we hope that we can provide our pets and our own the healthier and more real food.
We research and analyze the report that is in Taiwan pet food marketing in five years, and also we investigate the competitor in order to develop the unique selling point of our service and product.

Package Design For Four Scents Scent A: Dusk Reverie Scent C: Moon Delusion

L’Artisan Parfumeur is one traditional French Perfume brand. This brand was established in Paris in 1976 and has created 35 scents. (L’Artisan Parfumeur) In this D&AD competition, this brand provides the challenge what is re-envisage the package for 21st Century range. There are four scents with different human feeling what individually mean “Passion and desire, raw and physical”, “Perfect, sublime love”, “Excitement and fear, adrenaline and thrill”, “Elegant and dignified”. The new packages, what are included with bottle and box, should be related with these four scents and created a theme for this range.

Follow this concept development, we use the insane behaviour to relate with the name of each scent. scent A is Dusk Reverie, scent B is Dawn Meditation, scent C is Moon Delusion, scent D is Starry Illusion. The name of the range is Insane Forest.

In Chinese symbolization, three goats can bring spring to people, in addition, lucky and fortune can be brought as well. Using fine line to draw three horns of goats and combining their hair to demonstrate the intention in new year, what is ”growing and multiply without end.”

In order to deliver the traditional meaning in Taiwan “Baby is getting bigger while they are sleeping.” to the baby who is born in this goat year, fallowing using the fine line to demonstrate the decoration what is for 2015 gift box, a sleeping and fluffy lamb that be presend on the box for baby full month celebration.

In order to make the desserts are more attractive, different from the oldest poster what was applied white background to design, the new design for 2014-2015 is used dark background to emphasize the features of desserts or creating a scene for delivering the atmosphere of the season. For spring series, using image to present the feature of dessert “classic and elegent”; for summer series, applying white and cleaning background to create cool atmosphere; for autumn series, using ingrendients of dessrets to present the unique point what the desserts are made of; for winter series, creating a snowfield and the reindeer and the ginger bread man play on it.

In this image, in order to deliver a message which is “share and enjoy”, I arrange two people to use tableware to present the atmosphere.
“Hi, dear, shall we start? ”
In this image, in order to deliver a message which is “I can’t wait to enjoy this nice dessert”, I arrange two dishes and two fokers are placed on table, the afternoon tea time almost start.
“Bite Me. ”
In this image, I apply black ground to emphasize the glowing color of the Macaron soft candy. One candy is cut to attract people wanting to bite.

In 2011 summer, because of the designer of ic!berlin wanted to share the idea of ic!berlin to the press and the customer, the designer hold an event at Regent hotel in Taipei. This design was for invitation design, using simple and clear style to present the the layout.

This catalog is provided the new products in this spring and summer. In order to introduce the new and special creation in this season, this catalog was printed in 16 pages, 104mm x 148mm, with a clean design to show the characteristic of ic!berlin. The cover of this catalog was printed in black on silver paper, referring to ic!berlin’s stainless steel color.

Ic! berlin is a niche eyewear business company in Germany . In 2011 summer, ic!berlin had a collaboration opportunity with Audi. The guest of this event could take this card to get a gift. The gift is a chocolate, I extended the same idea to design this card. The inspiration was from 3D to 2D.

This e-directed marketing was designed for Valentine’s Day. I created an image with a chocolate explosion, and a smile was put on the chocolate, in order to present the sweet feelings between the lovers. In this case, we must made the chocolate merchandises could attract the customers, so we chose the category of merchandises and took some photos to present these special merchandises.

VIP Key Vision
These invitations were created for VIP. The logo was inspired from traditional sealing wax, and I wanted the design to be subtle enough to attract VIP, so that the invitations were gilded gold to present the quality. Purple and gold were used to print on magazine paper in order to make VIP feel the premium appearance from this catalog.

2011 “Make Your Own Frame” brand: ic!berlin place: Hong Kong date: 2011.05.17
INVITATION W11 x H11(cm) carving on stainless steel/ print on tracing paper
The invitations were carved on the stainless steel board with some information of this event. And another card was printed on 200gsm tracing paper.
“Make Your Own Frame” is the concept in this event. The designer of this brand, Ralph, came from Berlin to Hong Kong to teach people making the eyewear by themselves. In addition, they also held an exhibition to make people understand the characteristic of this brand. So I used some sketches and images of the designer to design the layout.
2011 Salvatore Ferragamo brand: salvatore ferragamo place: Taipei date: 2011.12.13-16 We intended to introduce the branding- Salvatore Ferragamo to our dealers. This event was an eyewear product launch. In addition, we prepared some refined desserts and snacks to receive our dealers because of we wished that event would be presented the elegance of this branding.

2012 ic!berlin Schubert Winterreise 240*100cm ic!berlin Concept Shop at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store Nanxi Taipei 2012.06
The dispaly was designed for displaying the new design of ic!berlin that was related with the musician Schubert. The concept was associated with the scene where the musician Schubert wrote music, he was sitting in front of the table and writing a symphonywhat was “Winterreise�. Using some vintage stuff to present the atmosphere such as lamp, clock and ink bottle.

2011 “Do Exercise Everywhere!” --First. Soccer Game 220*81*15cm 4F at Uni-Hankyu Department Store Xinyi Taipei 2011.03
This displayed point is at sport area, which is provided customers sport brand to choose, in Uni-Hankyu department store. I am the plaaner to plan the subject of this point, in order to present the concept what is associated with this area, multiple sport games are applied on this displayed point. The first sport game chose is “soccer”,the artifical turf is covered on this wall and there are 12 artist's dummies are fixed on here.

1000 Gift in Xmas All Spaces Uni-Hankyu Department Store Xinyi Taipei 2010.11
This course types are matched into 1000 gifts. I used the traditional Christmas color what as red, green and white to present this festival. This display was inspired by using gift boxes to pile an image like Christmas tree. In addition, I created a snow scene in this showcase. "Imagine, the Santa Claus passed the house; then put some gifts on the roof. One red reindeer walked through, making people have a nice dream." In this case, I must had some promotion, attracted the customers to buy the products I displayed.
2011 The Rabbits in Chniese New Year Graphic Design/Planner and Dispaly Design Uni-Hankyu Department Store Xinyi Taipei 2011.01
This display was designed for Chinese New Year. This year was rabbit articulate in Chinese zodiac, so I used Chinese tradition element of using paper-cuts on this design. I cut some image like cars, clothes and two rabbits blow the horn, combined the symbols to create a graphic for presenting the joyfulness in Chinese New Year.
I stuck paper-cut on the acrylic board; then hanged it. This way could let people look the creation completely when they shopped in the department store.

The superstars of soccer came from Brazil and Japan; they played soccer from Africa to Taiwan. I presented the superstars of soccer with comic style, and the reception was sward the grass that looked like a football field. I placed 32 national flags on the grass, and the national flags would be decreased through this FIFA World Cup game, this method would make customers who came to the department store understand the situation.

We had the opportunity to cooperate with Taiwan's traditional artists. The artists designed traditional oriental parasol paper umbrellas with hand painted patterns. And I choose the clothes and accessories to integrate the Taiwan's traditional culture. From this display, making people be able to understand the culture in Taiwan, and let people feel the autumn was coming.
