Artist Rinus Van de Velde mostly made a name for himself with monumental drawings, but since recently, he also uses film as an artform to tell his stories. His drawings often encompass very elaborate settings, and film provides an ultimate opportunity to document it in three dimensions and in colour. His newest film, La ruta natural, will be shown in loop at the Lounge, the perfect place to get transported on a fictional journey. No need to buy a ticket, the lounge is always open during the festival.

An alter ego of artist Rinus Van de Velde takes you on a surreal journey through a constructed universe. A cyclical film, like the title, which is a palindrome: even when you read it in reverse, you read the same thing.
