Intensive English Program Learning a new language is a challenging and exciting journey. Fontbonne’s Intensive English Program curriculum is designed to advance non-native English speakers’ language skills to communicate effectively in English. Courses focus on core communications skills and include 18 hours of instruction per week:

MBA One- or two-year program formats available. After successful completion of the core MBA program, graduates interested in a specialization may earn a concentration or second master’s degree. Nine MBA credit hours may be applied to the concentrations or majors below. Students may then complete two to six additional courses, as follows:

Partnerships ENGINEERING: (3/4+2) BS+BS Students earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology or Mathematics from Fontbonne University in 3 or 4 years and an undergraduate Engineering degree from Washington University or University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) in 2 years (engineering fields include: biomedical, civil, electrical, chemical, computer, mechanical, systems science).

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY: (3+2) BS+MSOT Students earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology or Psychology at Fontbonne University (3 years) and earn a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Washington University School of Medicine (2 years).

SOCIAL WORK: (3+2) BA + MSW Students complete a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services at Fontbonne University (3 years) and earn a Master of Social Work from Washington University (2 years).

CHIROPRACTIC: (3+3) BS + DC Students earn a Bachelor of Science at Fontbonne (3 years) and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University (3 years).

INTERNATIONAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP - $1,000 PER YEAR Students eligible for this scholarship must be attending a Catholic High School in their home country and enrolling as a first-time freshman at Fontbonne University. The non-merit based, renewable scholarship is automatically awarded to all eligible students. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA at Fontbonne University for automatic renewal and is renewable for up to 8 semesters. Proof of attendance at a Catholic high school is required and must be validated by the Office of International Affairs. Requirements: 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent; graduate of a Catholic High School; first-time freshman. This scholarship may be combined with a first-time freshman award. 10


UNDERGRADUATE TRANSFER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP Students eligible for this scholarship must meet the following criteria: Transfer from a four-year university or community college (or equivalent), 65 TOEFL (5.5 IELTS). This scholarship is renewable for up to 4 semesters, provided the student maintains a 3.0 GPA at Fontbonne University. Scholarship awards may only be applied to fall and spring semesters. The student must also maintain full time academic status (a minimum of 12 academic credits) in fall and spring semesters.

APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS To apply for an international scholarship, you must submit a Fontbonne application for International Undergraduate Admission as a full-time student (12-18 credit hours per semester). After students are accepted to the university and awarded a scholarship, notification will be mailed to each student. Scholarships do not apply for summer semesters.
