Alumni Spotlight

Dear Potential Sponsor, Thank you for considering a partnership with the Fontbonne University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa. We are proud to work with the ever growing membership of Omicron Delta Kappa in providing our students with the highest levels of leadership development for our campus and our community. This year is the FBUODK Five-Year Anniversary and we are excited to celebrate this milestone throughout our standard programming model. We have spent the last five years impacting our student body by providing resources that will catapult our community into the next stages of being an effective servant leader.

Carlyn Parent

FBUODK Vice President - 2014-2015 As a proud member of the Fontbonne University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, I can honestly say that ODK changed my life. Not only was it exciting to help build the chapter as one of our Chartering Committee Members, but this organization has also taught me vital life skilss; and for that, I am extremely grateful and will forever hold FBUODK close to my heart. Through my current work as a high school theater department sponsor, I must be a positive leader to my students and delegate the many tasks that need to get done in order to run a theater program. I have several crews that I oversee when putting on a production. My work reminds me so much of my role on the ODK executive board. When planning events around campus, I had a committee that I relied on and had to figure out how to utilize everyone’s strengths in order to succeed. In addition, while being an advisor to high school students, I must always practice professionalism and motivate students to get involved with projects outside of their school work. These traits directly correlate with the mission that ODK strives to achieve. All of these things are important, but perhaps the best characteristic that ODK has helped me with is confidence: the confidence to achieve big things, the confidence to network, and the confidence to be myself. As I am looking to advance in my career, I belive that my confidence will be a huge factor that I can rely on. I continue to thank Omicron Delta Kappa for building me into the strong, confident leader that I am today.

In order to support our circle and the student leadership endeavors, we host an annual Trivia Night to raise funds. This year, our event will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018. This event allows our members to connect with our community and share how the values and beliefs of the society have benefited them in their journey towards becoming solid leaders. Last year, we were able to fundraise over $3,000.00 that was used to host campus-wide events, promote our circle’s brand, and send student leaders to the ODK National Convention. We could not have done this without the help from businesses like yours. Please note that supporting our Trivia Night, and the circle as a whole, allows us to graciously thank your business and recognize your efforts in various ways. While you help us reach our goals, we can help expose your business to the 1,200 students on our campus in a variety of means. If at any time you have questions while reviewing this packet, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to working with you!

2017-2018 Trivia Night Sponsorship Opportunities Monetary Donation We are seeking round sponsors to provide a monetary donation that will directly benefit the students actively involved in the circle. Monetary donations will be used to provide campus-wide programming, leadership development opportunities, and assist in the attendance of the 2018 Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Convention in Nashville, Tennessee this summer. Each round sponsorship requires a $100.00 donation, with the entirety of that round serving as direct promotion of your business. Methods of promotion include printing your company logo on answer sheets, displaying information on the various screens, handing out coupons or handbills, or passing out samples to our patrons. We are more than happy to work with you in whatever ways you see fit.

In-Kind Donation We welcome in-kind donations of all types from all companies. Whether it is an item for our silent auction or a special service that you can provide for us throughout the event, we would love to have you as a sponsor in any capacity. Our silent auction and raffle portion of the evening serves as one of our most profitable outcomes of the event. We thank you for your ability to help us in this process.
