Singleness (1 Cor 7:7-8) Discussion Questions: 1. Singleness: A Special Gift (1 Cor 7.7-8) We understand our Married and Single states as special gifts from God. Share one way this understanding will affect our conversations with friends / colleagues. 2. Singleness: Given For A Purpose (1 Cor 7.32-34) Read the text. In light of the text, how has the Marrieds and Singles in the small group a. Honored God b. Obeyed God c. Served God? Share 1 example each. 3. Singleness: The Challenge a. Challenge Of Greater Focus Singles have less distractions. They are able to focus more on God. b. Challenge Of Deepening Relationships God created us with a desire for friendship and intimacy. c. Challenge Of Contentment Singleness is not 2nd best. It is not a curse. Singles: How examples of how difficult these Challenges were? How can the small group help a single facing these challenges?
