Happy Hour Fizzzzzzz

It’s the middle of summer. You vacationers out there should be vacationing by now… even if it’s in your own town. Time to start thinking tall, cool, fizzy drinks on the patio, sipping and slurping them through a straw. It’s time to start thinking Gin Fizz, a frothy 19th century cocktail made with fresh lemon juice, a dash of sugar, seltzer water, and a well-aged London gin. Shaken vigorously by your bartender until the cocktail shaker is too cold to hold … that’s when you know the drink is at its frothy best. If you really want it extra sooth and frothy, ask your bartender to include some egg white powder or a real egg if you’re feeling risky. Enjoy! --RB
