Since 1946 Five O’Clock Steakhouse has been a destination restaurant due to its unique nostalgic décor, charm and unusual steak presentation. The service is top notch, provided by more servers than you would expect.

This is the way it works at the Five O’Clock Steakhouse. You enter the restaurant and take a seat at the bar; a server comes over and takes your order and then you are taken to the table. When you are seated, you are greeted by a relish tray, bread and your salad. When ready the entrees are delivered with dramatic flair. Five O’Clock specializes in serving the finest steaks and seafood paired with a notable wine list, classic cocktails, as well as outstanding personalized service. The steaks are different from what you might find in other supper clubs. They are brushed with a light basting sauce ‘Stelio’s secret sauce ‘charred on a high temperature broiler sealing in all the flavors, served with sauteed mushrooms. The portions are very generous, between the relish tray, salad, sides and steak, I would say this is a meal fit for a king!

A popular luxury piano bar and lounge in the 1940’s, Coerper’s Five O’Clock Club once attracted Milwaukee’s elite to its swanky Alley Cat Lounge for nightly entertainment and cocktails served by attractive ladies called “Kittens”. A buzzer, still visible near the back alley entrance, gained patrons discreet entry into the sleek nightclub.

Today, the historic Alley Cat has been re-invented into the most unique private event space and one of the hottest jazz, blues and rock venues in Milwaukee, attracting top local and national acts. The Alley Cat features private dining Tuesday – Saturday and live music every Friday starting at 8pm. The Alley Cat features a full bar, signature cocktails, wine, beer and light fare.
