IYF English Camp 2011-13 IYF English Camp is a short-term Christian volunteering initiative that strives to teach English and plant hope in foreign countries. Through a diverse blend of language learning programs, short-term volunteers expose students of all ages to English and the basics of American culture. Through obstacles and limitations, they gain experiences and confidence that give them a newfound perspective on their futures. At the same time, IYF English Camp volunteers discover the joy and happiness that stems from serving others.
Daegu World Games: 2011 The IYF was invited to support the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA), when they despatched the world’s greatest sprinting team to the Daegu World Championships 2011 IYF provided translating services, Jamaican food and hospitality. In short - a true home away from home Former GNC Volunteers to Jamaica served the team not because they were told to. They were just happy to be Jamaican again During the camp: Usain Bolt - Gave the IYF a plaque on behalf of the team saying “Thank You IYF” Yohan Blake (World 100m Champion), ShelleyAnn Fraser-Pryce (Olympic 100 Gold Medalist) & Kerin Stewart (Olympic Silver Medalist) - were appointed official IYF Ambassadors Shelley-Ann Fraser-Pryce “The Jamaican contingent has rea"y been honoured to have known and spent time here with the IYF. What you do changes lives and I’m rea"y happy to be associated with you”
Paraguay: South America Paraguay Day - In South Korea President Fernando Lugo Méndez visited the IYF in South Korea on the traditional Paraguay Day festival at the Yeosu World Fair Expo. The president was greeted at a luncheon hosted by the IYF 600 IYF Members including the Founder Pastor Ock Soo Park as well as the Gracias Choir were in attendance to celebrate his visit to Korea. About 20 other Korean officials, including the Ministers of the Department of Foreign Affairs, of Agriculture, and of Industry and Trade, as well as the Korean Ambassador to Peru were also in attendance The president met the IYF in 2011 through the IYF World Camp in Peru. President: Fernando Lugo Méndez “I have been attending the events of IYF and I now have a strong belief that this is the thing that can actua"y change the life of youth in the world”

Good News Broadcasting System The IYF GBS (Good News Broadcasting System) 1st Digital over-air TV station in Nairobi GBS was established in 2009 in Kenya, to be different from other Christian channels and focuses on spreading the pure gospel of Christ The station has 113 staff members and presents programs that cover a wide variety of sports, recreation and cultural programs and of course the Word of God.
Government Requests Camp for 2,800 Students The Prime Minister’s office and Youth department hosted a series of mind lectures conducted by the IYF About 2,800 youth leaders participating from 217 election precincts across the entire country. Many youth heard the gospel and received salvation Vice President: Kalonzo Stephen Musyoka “I feel truly thankful to be able to take part in this splendid camp with the IYF and participants. Youth comprise 65% of our population and we have a lot of hope towards you.”
Republic of Ghana: African Continent The President Hears the Gospel Before He dies
The late President of Ghana, John Atta-Mills, was ill and during his last days, his wife made contact with the local IYF office and requested that Pastor Park visit her husband. He was highly regarded as a strong candidate for the upcoming Presidential Election at the end of that year. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his illness and died on July 24th, at around 2:30 pm. However, four hours before the President passed away, he met Pastor Ock Soo Park and heard the gospel and received true salvation. His meeting with Pastor Park was facilitated by his wife who came to the IYF World Camp and received salvation.

The Gracias Cantata Tour extols the true meaning of the birth & death of Jesus Christ through song, dance, drama and the message by the guest speaker The tour covered 9 cities in 2011, 11 cities in 2012
