Spain have had such a settled group of superstars for so long, but this tournament represents the baton passing onto the next generation and perhaps none have as much hope for succeeding as Pedri.
Just 18, Pedri was a beacon of light for Barcelona in a difficult season for the Catalan giants and boss Luis Enrique has not taken the youngster along just for the ride this summer.
