Back in the 18th & 19th century poets and authors brought together the idea of walking, travel and landscape in new ways. They created a what it meant to journey in the landscape on foot.

Walking was no longer just about the destination but the experience of the journey. The slowness of walking was its very importance, time to observe the world. They were the first travel rebels.
