Either finishing college, or entering the work field, the guys wouldn’t be doing what they love and sharing their talents with the world. And we’re glad they chose the route they have, providing real music. Real music like their latest mixtape "Hella Attitude And We Got Suhwag Vol. 3." Produced by B-Soopa, Vol.3 gives a futuristic sound combined with a heavy bass providing that new sound aforementioned. Soopa, J-Dub, and P.Butta lyrics provide a smooth delivery, as if second nature. Remember the movement, HSB, remember the group, The H.A.W.G.S, and remember the names J-Dub, B-Soopa. P.Butta, and Mars, because this won’t be the last you hear of them.

Mine is more “divine inspirations”. When I try to WRITE a joke, it just doesn’t come out that funny to me, but when I’m chilling with my girls, or speaking with my husband, stuff just comes out of those conversations and I already have a proven audience appeal when they start laughing. So I take it on stage and twirk as I go until I have a proven, funny bit...the audience is my guinea pig for every new joke I come up with. Blue Legacy– BLOW

Jay Mills– The Virgo 3

BLUE LEGACY is a rapper coming from NEW YORK, his flow is smooth and he stays on point with the beats. He creates music that will have your head boppin' and rewindin. The following tracks will show you his skills on the mic. 1. Thug Appeal/2. We Got This /3. Higher To hear more of his music and watch his videos check out www.hand2handent.com, you'll get a feel of what his music is about. BLUE LEGACY: Keep Rockin The Mic! -By LadiInBlue —————————

For those not familiar with Jae Millz he's one of the more talented members of Young Money who you rarely hear about. Even though I don't see an album coming out any time so rest assured that he can definitely make a decent mixtape. The Virgo series tells the stories of Jae Millz sexual antics. His production selection is perfect. I couldn't find any information about the producers of the tracks however the beats consist of alot of sampling from 70's and 00's classics. One of my favorite tracks is #1. Serenade. This is a sampled track from one of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time Barry White. You were probably conceived while his music was playing in the background. I could have done without track #8. Millz spits over Travis Porter's Make it rain. Its a hot song but it Pretty Ricky– Love Vs Lust Listening to the LOVE Vs. LUST MIXTAPE and I must say I'm lov- takes away from the overall mood of the mixtape. Up Close & Personal with

GrindMode 18

Google Grindmode and you’ll have hours of information at your fingertips. Turn on your radio, and you’re bound to be caught at a red light jamming to So Fly or Ecstasy..and we dare you to say you don’t know all the words to either songs. Step into any hip hop club and you’re destined to, at some point in the night, two step to songs from this dynamic trio. We at Ford Ent are all huge fans of this group who have been everywhere from the cover of magazines, to tv to internet etc..etc. etc… This month, we took the time to get personal with the group members and get to know who they are.

There are many words to describe Stage McCloud. A professional with a unquenchable thirst to create, an artist, a poet, a mentor to many of the people surrounding him. A Supreme Teacher and Gifted Educator. One of the original members of the world famous Iconz, Stage McCloud is now described by one word that repeatedly finds itself echoed in his presences... ...FOCUSED. He has returned from several road bumps and crossroads, after a long absence from the public eye, to do what comes natural to him, create music. And he is so very focused!!! Arising from the dust of what was once Iconz', like a Phoenix, Stage McCloud was reborn, and with the rebirth of McCloud, came the rebirth of everything that was McCloud. No longer a Iconz, he traded in his Get Fucked Up Days for the uncertain future with a group of unknowns. The Grind Mode. Now with a new camp backing him McCloud can truly be put to rest, and replaced by McKlezie. The artist, CEO, The Grind Mode. Tell the clubs to prepare, cuz McKLEZIE'S BACK BABY!!!! CAROL CITY'S GOLDEN KID!! Influences: First and foremost I would have to say that my biggest influences to continue to strive and be better would have to be my Daughter. It's not often that an artist has his perfect muse around him, however I am truly blessed to have my child cheer me on, until I conquer all. God is and will always be not only an influence, but a creator for all the music, that is channeled through me!! Musically, I do not make a secret that I pattern myself after Big Daddy Kane. He was truly ahead of his time, with his versatility, charisma, knowledge, and flat out showmanship. Hopefully, I do him justice when recreating him. Some notables would be Grand Puba (Crazy Swagger), Trick Daddy and Busta Rhymes (Need I say more about him). When it comes to music, I am in amazement with all that Shawn Carter (Jay Z) has accomplished in his life. Rapper turned Mogul, with no help, a true rags to riches stories. Vince McManhon ranks right up there with Shawn. I actually met both gentlemen, but I was more intimidated by Vince. His art of promoting himself, his company, and his Superstars gives any business man a blue print to expanding his/her company. Convertible Bert and lets just leave it at that!!!! Also any DBoys, Pimps, Players, and Hustlers out there doing they thang big. Big Respect to all those on the grind, I do this for yall. (Artist bio from www.McKlezie.com)

I'm asked all the time why i go by the name HUNGER! "is it cause you skinny?" no! Its the best word that describes my drive and determination. I just gotta eat! I refuse to dwell in poverty or anything near that. My inspiration comes from my two sons KALEB and JAYLEN, they motivate me. keep an ear out for me this year, I'm the next thing smoking ya dig!!!!! GRIND MODE IZ 4EVA!!!!! Thoughts on the state of Hip Hop: A lot of people these days have negative things to say about Hip Hop and its current state. Some say its dead or at the least on life support. This past year we saw a few cats come through with more lyrics than we've experienced in the last 5 years of this culture that we so love. That has given hope to some but to many they still feel that our beloved Hip Hop is still lost and astray. I've come to realize that a lot like Art, the beauty of music is in the eyes of the beholder. What is considered class to some can be trash to many others. Hip Hop is a child compared to other genres of music. As much as we would like to keep her an infant for as long as possible, the inevitable is that she must blossom and evolve. Grind Mode is the squad, but HUNGER is that dude!!!! I'm Now in saying so, even parents are disappointed and let Connected from Miami to Palm Beach and many other cities down by how their children turn out at times. Where were you at in your career before Grind Mode? In actual GRIND MODE...i owned a magazine called The Grind Magazine, produced/directed/hosted my own web show called Grind Time TV with over a million viewers monthly, had the biggest buzz in South Dade-County...an was trying to get out of being illegal What is it that you bring to the table as far as being in a group? I rap...write hooks...and I'm the "connect man"...down with all the clubs, promoters, djs, etc What would you say your strength is? The respect that i receive from my peers & the streets carried me much further than any amount of money could What's one word to describe you as a person? I keep GOD first in everything i do What's one word to describe you as an artist? BLESSED As far as your personality... Who is Chaos? I'm the street head out the click...I'm not bad, i just don't take anything from anyone...i give love & get it back, along with respect When you first started what goals had you set for yourself? To prove everyone wrong that spoke about me negatively 7 not be a statistic What is something about you that people may not know? I have been on FIRST 48 ;) In your opinion, what is the key element to success? Having a strong relationship with GOD...HE is in control of it all How long have you been in this business? Forever...which is why patience is another element needed You have all accomplished so much in this game, both individually and collectively as a group. What has been the most meaningful and most memorable moment so far and why? Out living the odds…and not letting my grandmother down by planning my funeral…she's my world How do you keep yourself grounded as far as your beliefs and not lose yourself in the lifestyle? I'm no preacher or role model...but after surviving things that some of my friends didn't or go to prison for half of what i have done…i owe GOD, so I'm forever in debt with him...plus its about GOD, not me. Tell us about your youtube webisodes? "Life aint that bad"...What are each video based on? Why the series? I started my series to show my own fan base the good, bad & unknown of my own life so they don't think its all perfect on my side...didn't think it would get so much attention or interest on the internet but there's messages in all episodes

How do you maintain a private life in the midst of being so open to the public? Where and how do you draw that line? I'm an open book...but my relationships are exclusive…and so is my sex life What is the biggest misconception about this industry? A major record deal makes it easier for you; LIE! What advice would you give an artist fresh in this game? Less talk & more action You guys seem to all rock many hats ....What facet of the game do you enjoy the most? ........the least? I love being able to make peoples life better by signing autographs, pictures, etc...just being accessible but that same access to some people could be an issue...everyone does not love you! What was it that gained "Grind Mode" recognition? Music that targeted the women & kids...then the streets fell in love What are you currently working on? I just starred in a movie called "Baghdad"...hardest job ever...acting aint easy but it should be out in May or June...mixtapes, DVDs, and new music What is something that you guys are looking forward to? This game is unpredictable...so I'm looking forward to just being in the game period What can we look forward to in the future? Look for everyyyyyyyythingggggggggg Myspace.com/Grindmode Twitter.com/Chaos33176

A Jane Of 22

All Trades 23

A Conversation with the one and only

Ms Caramel….. First off, explain your name "Ms Caramel" how did you come up with that? Well its kind of a funny story.. my auntie was talking to me one day and I told her i wanted my own business and i need a cool name for myself and she was think of all kinds of names and one of her friends walk in the room and said hey my smooth caramel...and i was like hey ms caramel perfect.. Lol..sometimes names find you in this business! Speaking of which, tell us exactly what it you do. Well I am the CEO Nu-Movement/Nothin Nice Productions first of all i model myself but i have other models that i book different events for we also do videos, promotions, fashion shows, award shows magazines etc so therefore i manager models as well. and on the other side I am with the 704djs and I am Ms On Air Personality for HOT1079.net and I break records, interviews, have mixtapes coming out etc so i try to do it all... oh yea trying to get this reality TV show for Nu-Movement/Nothin Nice Productions Jane of all trades huh? Out of all these titles, which do you enjoy the most? All of it.. But if I have to choose one I would say Modeling... i enjoy it.. What is it about Modeling that you enjoy? I love taking photos but i just the attention.. all eyes on me.. and just the whole atmosphere.., it just refreshing… Did you begin your career with modeling? Yes.. i did i was modeling and then i started out managing artists which they are hard to manage so i decided models would be easier.. which i have artists under my belt just waiting for them to get themselves together.. lol explain to us how managing artists differ from managing models? Well umm managing models is easier because I know what they want and they push hard to get what they want and artists not all but they want you to want on them hand and foot

and i can give you the water but i cant make you drink it. In other words if you don't want it and i am helping to get it then it useless

Now that we've tapped into your modeling and you being a manager...tell us about your on-air venture Well i am Ms On Air Personality i am on air every Sunday from (pm to 12am and I do interviews and break records… Where can we catch the show? You can catch the show on HOT1079.net and i telling you is hot and steamy the Grown and Sexy vibe with Ms Caramel 24

I've actually heard your show before and you keep it grown, classy and definitely sexy...do you have a particular type of artist/model that you would interview on the show or is it open to everyone Oh yes.. the model would be Iman and the artist would be trey Songz...but it really open to everyone...but i would love to interview them Ummm...when you get Trey Songz if you need help with the interview, I GOT YOU! lol...but apart from obvious reasons What makes you want to interview Trey? I got you .... I just love his GRIND.. i love his songs, i just love everything about him.. his looks everything... and what about Iman? i just everything about her she very beautiful and she is so together...

are doing and have that passion for you and what you are doing in your life. Ladies if you don't have that then take a step back and look inside the box and if it is not looking like you want it to look remove that box.. Its a different between want and need.. I love that answer...Wish more women thought like that. Do you coach these kinda things to your models? Yes of course.. my models go thru situations with guys and i definitely is there for them.. Now they call me Momma Caramel what a name....lol lol...and speaking of advice..what's the biggest advice or number one i should say that you give your models? Stay true to yourself.. and never put a man before GOD or yourself‌

Speaking of relationships, i need your opinion on this: why as a model, is that who you look up to in your work? are there more wifeys then wives nowadays? Yes....and also Kamore.... awesome women.. Because woman these days doing things totally different back in the day women stayed with their husband and stayed tonow enough with the business stuff...lets get grown and sexy gether for 30 to 50 years and now the whole meaning of wives lol....define grown and sexy just changed.. lol.. oh now you getting like me..lol grown and sexy to me is classy, independent and have her stuff together also she have What's the new meaning by your definition? intelligence.. March Pics: Southern Entertainment Awards

This was the first year that Ford Ent Magazine was able to attend the SEA, one of the biggest, if not the most revered Indy Award show in the south. The three day event started on Friday March 4th with not much fanfare. After arriving in the beautiful city of Memphis that morning, our first event was an Artist Showcase that evening at 6pm. During that showcase, the most noted performers, in our opinion were Lil E, Rome Logan and Young Chris, with his “I Just Wanna Cut” track which we’re still unable to get out of our heads! We opted to not attend the after party which was the talk of the next morning of how DJ Dimepiece truly rocked the house. Saturday was the meat and potatoes of the weekend. With educational panels every hour from “Women in the Industry” to “Indy Vs Major– To Sign or not to Sign” there was a wide range of topics available to satisfy everyone in every aspect of the music business. Following a day of learning, that Saturday evening was a fashion show. Featuring fashions from Men in Suits and bathing suits out of balloons, the fashion show was truly THE event of that weekend. Sunday was the date of the actual Award show. After walking the red carpet and being interviewed by multiple media outlets, nominees and guest all entered the Cannon convention center and found their seats. Promptly at 330 the actual show began. The show was mostly based on performances and very few actual presentation of awards (which the majority of the winners were all announced on Saturday via email. The performances that were truly memorable during the show were Miz Smurff assisted by Dj Dimepiece and One Thurd who brought on enough energy on stage to wake a sleepy giant. Truly looking forward to the 9th Annual SEA next year! (Pics on page 37 courtesy of Kermit Henderson (Facebook.com/WeMakeSuperstars) 36
