EVENTS ON-CAMPUS To connect with us, please contact our Employer Relations specialist Beatrice Rice (brice4@fordham.edu).
TABLING Tabling is a great way to build presence and establish your brand on campus. To ensure your business gains optimal visibility, we suggest tabling in the McGinley Student Center Lobby during lunch hours, which attracts a higher number of students. Be sure to bring handouts, swag, and if you’ll be on campus again at a later date for a Career Fair or OCR day, be sure to remind the students of that as well. TABLING AT ROSE HILL: MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS BETWEEN 1:00-3:00 PM TABLING AT LINCOLN CENTER: WEDNESDAYS BETWEEN 3:00- 5:00 PM AND THURSDAYS BETWEEN 12:00-2:00PM
INFORMATION SESSIONS Information Sessions are typically offered in the evening, after students finish classes. While some companies choose to offer presentations that provide an overview of their internship programs and company structure, we find that successful presentations have a learning component. Students are looking for ways to apply their coursework to real scenarios and are more likely to attend an event where they learn a marketable skill about a particular industry. In order to request an information session, log in to Handshake and complete a “new event” request. Once completed, your event will be added to our events calendar and marketed to our student body. INFORMATION SESSIONS AT ROSE HILL: MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS 5:30 - 7:00PM
INFORMATION SESSIONS AT LINCOLN CENTER: TIMES MAY VARY DUE TO SPACE
ADDITIONAL EVENTS
Events on-campus are by no means limited to info sessions and tabling. Other events have included panels, employer office hours and large-scale campus events. These events can also be scheduled through Handshake.

ON-CAMPUS ON CAMPUS RECRUITING Academic Year 2019-2020 Signature Partners may begin requesting dates on April 1st, 2020
Utilizing on-campus Recruiting (OCR) and on-campus interviews is a great option for employers planning on interviewing more than just a few Fordham students for a full-time position or internship program. In order to request an OCR date, log in to Handshake and choose “Create New on-campus Interview Schedule” from the Shortcuts menu on the right. Employers trying on-campus recruiting for the first time are encouraged to schedule tabling and info sessions as well as participation in career fairs as part of a holistic recruiting strategy. Please contact Carolyn Funke (cfunke1@fordhamedu) for more information and questions about OCR.
EMPLOYMENT OFFERS &ACCEPTANCE POLICY On-campus recruiting interviews are designed to give employers the opportunity to interview a large number of Fordham candidates conveniently, and in one day. We handle the logistics so that you can focus on the students. On-campus interview days begin at 9:30AM with last interviews ending at 4:30PM. We are happy to accommodate early start time and late interviews upon request to our Signature Partners. Partners should send their requests for early start/late finish at least 2 weeks before the scheduled interview day. In the event that you choose to manage your own interview scheduling, a copy of the finalized schedule should be sent to the office of Career Services 48 hours before the first interview. You can request your OCR dates by logging in to Handshake and choosing “Interviews” from the Shortcuts menu on the right. In order to give students sufficient time to complete their searches, we ask employers to abide by the following offer schedule for the 2018-2019 academic year. Employers must honor all offers extended. No conditions should be placed on these offers. Exploding offers and special incentives such as diminishing bonuses and location preference should not be offered in exchange for early offer acceptance, as pressure on students to accept early makes it difficult for us to enforce our policies against students reneging on job offers. Below are our policies on offer deadlines.
