ABOUT Fordham Career Center The Career Center for Cura Personalis is committed to the ideas of care and community: care for the whole person and the creation of meaningful experiences and connections for all Fordham students. We focus on holistic career education, occupational wellness, and an MVVP model of professional development— emphasizing Mission, Value, Vision, and Purpose from your first year through graduation. The Fordham Career Center is committed to building a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship while providing a bridge between the classroom experience and the world beyond. Throughout the job and internship search process, it is our goal to help students, alumni, community partners and employers alike understand the extraordinary value of a Fordham education. We understand the specific needs of student athletes and are proud to provide tailored resources including an athlete resume template, student athletes job search resources, employer and alumni panels and networking opportunities, as well as access to the Shift Group platform. We assist student athletes in articulating their value to an employer providing skills and experiences practiced on the field, track, court or pool. Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Intercollegiate athletics places great demands on the time, energy, and attention of student-athletes. Colleges and universities can and must provide opportunities for participants to be successful students and fulfilled athletes. It is the belief of the Athletics Department that it is our responsibility to provide the necessary programs and support to help the student-athlete achieve that goal. The mission of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to assist in the creation of an environment where all athletes have the opportunity to maximize their academic, personal, and social growth and provide them with tools for a productive and satisfying life during and after college.
