Welcome to the 3rd Annual Veteran Internship and Career Fair! We are thrilled to extend this opportunity to student veterans in New York to further their career prospects.
Our mission at Fordham University is to support student veterans and their dependents, collectively known as RAMVETS, by providing them with career-related information, events, fairs, and a wealth of resources tailored to the veteran community. We recognize that the unique skills veterans students acquire during their military service are invaluable and can be harnessed to excel in the civilian and corporate sectors.
The Career Center and The Office of Military and Veterans Services (OMVS) have partnered to help veterans explore a diverse array of professional development services and resources, and we hope this event will offer you the opportunity to explore possibilities for your future. The Career Center and the Office of Veterans and Military Services invite veteran-friendly employers to host site visits, information sessions and employer coffee chats for our students. We have hosted UBS, Mircosoft, Oracle, EY, KPMG, Societe Generale, Crestron, BNP Paribas, and Enterprise Holdings, as each employer held a professional presentation regarding the many difficulties veterans face with their career search. Each of the employers talked about the company culture and their own Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, including veteran programs.
