With so many variables -- weather, rocks, hills -- the Boa System delivers a secure, precision fit so that runners can focus on what’s ahead, and not worry about what’s under them.

Every runner has stopped to re-tie laces -- especially on the trail, where debris catches on loose, flapping ends. The last thing a runner wants is to trip on a lace in a boulder field.

With Boa, the runner can set it and forget it. Runners can focus on the trail ahead instead. There are no loose ends flapping in the wind (or catching on briars).

Some sources estimate that runners can spend several minutes tying their shoes before and during a marathon.

Trail Shoe Configuration #1

With a three-guide system, the Trail I configuration is built for stability in environments where uneven terrain is the norm. The NC722 Lace has been tested extensively in the field and rates high for fatigue durability. The tongue-mounted low-profile L5 dial is easy to adjust, yet out of the way. The Trail I is recommended for shoes with soft, lightweight uppers.
