Dugout Today we welcome Glasgow City to Station Park in in the latest of our Scottish Women’s Premier League 1 matches.

We have now entered that crucial part of the season where every match takes on extra significance and today is no different. Since we were last at home, we have had a couple of mixed performances. We travelled to the Hummel Training Centre to take on Rangers and we were very much unfortunate not to come away with a point from the game. A very good team performance almost got us a great result, however it was not to be. Maria McSherry captured the headlines for us that day by grabbing her first goal in SWPL 1. On a contrasting night in Edinburgh we took on Hibs in what turned into a night to forget. We are all well aware that the performance was unacceptable and cannot happen again. Despite this we are all desperate to make up for this and put on a good showing today against another one of the country’s top sides. Today presents us with what could be described as the ultimate challenge in Scottish Women’s football, and this provides with even more motivation to do well and perform against one of Europe’s elite sides. We thank you for all your support as always. Enjoy the Game!

captain’s column Good afternoon, It’s great to be back at Home. Following a heavy defeat away to Hibernian mid week we come into today’s game with a point to prove. We are under no illusions that today’s game will be a challenging one but we have been working hard in training all week in preparation for today’s opposition Glasgow City. Thank you for your support, we hope you enjoy today’s game. Nicola
