Good afternoon and welcome to Station Park for our first cup game of the 2019 season against today’s opponents Kilmarnock.
This is our second home game of the season and as a team we would like to kick on from last weekends win against Motherwell and to continue the momentum that we are starting to gather from pre-season. Pre–season has seen a number of changes and challenges within the playing and coaching staff. We have kept a strong group of players together, whilst recruiting new players to the team and welcoming back a number of players who have played for Farmington previously. I would like to thank all the committee members for allowing me to take on the role of head coach and also a massive thank you to all of the coaching and backroom staff who are both individually and collectively such a great bunch of people who have the best interests of the club and each player at heart. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the Forfar Farmington family for making myself, my wife Laura and my daughter Mia feel so welcome into the club and for making the transition back into football in Forfar for where we lived for a number of years so easy and enjoyable to be around, Last but not least, thank you the supporters for reading today’s match day programme and for supporting your team, the girls and I really appreciate you spending the afternoon with us here at Station Park and we hope to provide you with a game full of talking points, attacking play and goals. Enjoy all the refreshments that we have available for you, our team of fantastic club volunteers are happy to serve you the delights on offer from the tea hut.

Good afternoon and welcome to Station Park where we host Kilmarnock in the first round of the SWPL Cup. We know today will be a physical and competitive game but it is one we have prepared well for & are looking forward to. We have had a few new changes within the club and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new coaching staff on board so a big FClub welcome to head coach Stevie as well as coaches Chris and Fraser. There are also a few new players to welcome to the FClub family with Hannah, Philippa and Kate all joining, it is good to have you guys on board. We are getting used to a different coaching style and pre season has gone well, the girls have worked hard. We kicked off our season away to Celtic but we did not perform to the best of our ability. We picked ourselves back up, worked hard in training and this saw us gain three points against Motherwell last week. We hope you enjoy today’s game and thank you for your support. Nicola
