CHARLIE Company and ALPHA Company led the way in donations for our 2014 Food Drive. Charlie collects 5,138 lbs. in bottled water and food; and Alpha collects 4,200 lbs. in food for the Jefferson Area Food Bank. Great job by all cadets, faculty and staff!


The Corps enjoyed an exciting basketball game on December 12, cheering the PG team to victory over Hargrave in overtime for a BIG FUMA WIN!

Cadets spent a day skiing and boarding at Wintergreen Resort. Seventeen cadets, COL Shuman, and MAJ Haney took the first ski trip of the season. More trips to come in January!

Cadets attend the Casting Crowns concert at the Patriot Center in DC. The group was chaperoned by Chaplain Benson and Josh Malave.


HOLIDAY WREATH DECORATING Cadets gathered in the Social Center on Friday, December 12 to show their creative side in the Holiday Wreath Decorating Activity. The cadets were provided 30� wreaths, bows, ribbons, a large assortment of ornaments, decorations and candy canes. Everyone was impressed with the wreaths that the cadets decorated within one hour. Of course, this was also a corps competition between the companies. BRAVO Company finished in first place, CHARLIE Company followed very close in second place, and DELTA Company came in third place.

In December, the Rifle team traveled to Cumberland for their first official match. Eight 4-man teams competed, representing five schools.
