Where is the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival happening this year?

a. The main festivities will be held at Fair Oaks Park (11549 Fair Oaks Blvd) from 3PM8PM. Other features of the event will take place in-person/online 7:30AM-8:00PM, including the Pancake Breakfast at the Fair Oaks/Orangevale Grange, Fair Oaks Village, online vendor marketplace, live streams, and much more!

Why the location change?

a.The 2021 & 2022 Fair Oaks Chicken Festival will be re-located to Fair Oaks Park as the Village undergoes renovations. We 'll see everyone back in the Village in 2023!

Where should I park?

a.Parking will be available at Fair Oaks Park, Fair Oaks Church (0.2 miles), New Life Church (0.8 miles), and other nearby locations. Check out the event map for full details. Please remember to park safely, legally, and respect the residents in neighboring areas!

Where can I view the schedule of events?

a.Details and final schedule are hatching! Come back to forpd.org/chickenfest for the final event schedule closer to the event date.

How much does it cost to attend the festival?

a.General admission and parking are free! Certain activities have a fee attached: Kid’ s Park, Craft Brew, VIP Tickets, Pancake Breakfast, etc.

Where can I purchase merchandise, kid’s park wristbands, or VIP tickets?

a.Tickets for various event experiences/activities are available NOW here.

Are you still accepting vendors?

a.Vendor spots are open until filled. Please submit an application here. Should spots be full, email cadams@forpd.org to be added to the vendor waitlist.

Will there be food trucks?

a.The event will feature several food trucks provided by SactoMofo. Please check back later for details on what eats and treats will be at the festival!

I’m not ready to attend in person, what festivities can I experience from home?

a.You can experience a lot of the Chicken Festival fun at home! We will have an online vendor marketplace, live streams of on-stage concerts, contest voting, videos, and more! Click here for more information.
