Many watches were “inspired” by the Royal Oak, with Patek Philippe doing them the highest honor by basing the Nautilus design on the it. The present example in 18K with a black dial and automatic movement is an extremely desirable variation.

The Double Red Sea Dweller, named for it’s two lines of red text on the dial, is one of the most desirable and hard-to find models made by Rolex.
