Reinhausen Manufacturing, a world leader the Electrical Power Engineering industry has 1 opening for a Transformer Field Service Technician in the Charlotte, NC area. This position will be based in the Charlotte, NC area but may require training in our manufacturing facility in Humboldt, TN for several weeks depending on the candidates’ experience. The technician will be responsible for servicing our transformers for our clients located primarily throughout the US. Some of our transformer clients are located in Canada, Mexico and Europe. The Transformer Field Service Technician is responsible for preparing equipment and job sites, as well as performing basic installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, testing & repairs independently. Additionally, this position will assist the Transformer Field Service Team during service activities / functions – such as installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, testing & repairs. Essential Functions: • Close collaboration with and technical support of the Transformer Field Service Team. • Assembly of transformer and components • Assist in all craft classifications • Set-up / operation of Processing Trailer • Set-up / operation of oil testing equipment • Set-up / operation of OLTC & transformer testing equipment • Perform all aspects of control cabinet installation, testing, and troubleshooting
