Cutting Edge Zwilling J.A. Henckels Opens Permanent New Showroom
Zwilling J.A. Henckels, one of the most prestigious and internationally recognized brand names in cutlery, now has a light-filled, sleek and modern stage to showcase its growing brands for today’s modern living kitchens. A recent line of cookware was designed by British architect John Pawson. Modern and sleek showroom with a trademark recognized around the world. The Zwilling J.A. Henckels logo, depicting the traditional Gemini insignia, is one of the oldest and most recognized in the world. The new showroom has been completely green-renovated with recycled materials, LEEDcertified carpet and energyefficient infrastructure.
Staub cast iron cookware from Alsace, France. A world leading manufacturer of enameled cast iron cookware with its trademark black matte enamel and non-stick properties is the choice of renowned chefs including Paul Bocuse and Laurent Tourondel. Cookware lids are both functional and charming with animal-shaped knobs.
Guido Weishaupt, Zwilling J.A. Henckels CEO, noted that the showroom opening in April was a success. “The response to our new space and the products featured was very positive. At L’Objet, Georgia Tapert and Caroline Cummings tell clients not to be afraid to mix things up by layering, using different patterns together, mixing solids with patterns, pairing old with new and traditional with modern.
Susan Anthony, Director of Anthony Wright Interiors, Irvington-on-Hudson, urges her clients to use their good china and crystal every day. At Royal Copenhagen she learned that classic patterns, still in production since 1775, continue to be painted by hand and are available in open stock.
