A Sense of Place Cottages & Gardens Publications tapped the talents of three distinguished interior designers to create the lobby tables for the Fall New York Tabletop Market. Each setting was evocative of the trio of regions the magazines cover.

The Hamptons by Kerry Delrose Capturing the vibe of relaxed country chic entertaining that defines the oceanside enclave, this buffet was set with Vietri Adriatic Striped and Fish plates, Puiforcat Nantes flatware, Ralph Lauren Home Durban trays, Henley trays and bowls, Sloane vase and bowl, Dorset napkin rings, Modern Equestrian hurricanes, Montgomery pitcher, Celeste carafes, ice bucket, barware, and Garden triple wick candles.

Oozing glamour, this fur-topped table was imagined for a dinner with fabulous, stimulating and stellar guests. The luxe look was achieved with Robert Haviland & C. Parlon chargers, dinner, bread & butter, and dessert plates, Mottahedeh Butterfly Shell Dish, Sambonet USA Filet Toiras flatware, Rosenthal meets Versace Arabesque Amber stemware, L’Objet Crystal Spice Jewels salt & pepper cellars and Gold Birds placecard holders, and William Yeoward Crystal Deco picture frames. Other elements completing this table included: Kim Seybert Capiz Chargers from Bergdorf Goodman, Sferra Festival linen napkins, Tucker Robbins gold porcelain stools, and Gracie Wallpaper silver leaf folding screen.

Envisioned amid nature and the great outdoors, this setting reflected that intersection where organic design meets fashion’s flair. Michael Aram was the source for the Enchanted Forest Café table and chairs, Dandelion sculptures, cast iron plates, Sleepy Hollow candle holders and wine coaster, Wisteria picture frame and Orchid napkin rings. Also contributing were: Royal Doulton accent plates and barware bowl, Wedgwood’s Vera Wang hammered stainless, and from Scafati & Company, Deco West silver lusterware wine and water glasses, Pampa Bay silver urn, and Garnier Thiebaut napkins.

The Forty One Scene PHOTOS LEFT TO RIGHT: HauteLook.com’s director of home Aaron Cunningham met with BIA Cordon Bleu president Paul Baughman. At Euro Ceramica, owner Nicolas Marjieh and associate Joanna Hoe worked with HomeGoods buyer Jill Frattaroli. Gorham introduced a new collection by Kathy Ireland, and joining her for the teatime launch in the Lenox showroom were Belk’s executives David Zant, Catherine Shaw and Chad Stauffer. Vista Alegre opened its showroom in the nick of time for Fall Market, giving Daniel da Silva and Margi Dorger a chance to meet with Dana Robins, a buyer for corporate jets, yachts and other private enterprises. Hampton Forge owner Felix Amar and marketing and sales manager Lauren Haber hosted a reception for buyers and a VIP guest was Barbara Kavovit, founder of Barbara K home improvement toolkits for women. Olivier Pechou, senior director of Hermès, with the Bergdorf Goodman team including Jennifer Schulten, Michaela Andrade and Andrew Mandell. Julia Watts with retailer Michelle Anderson, owner of La Dentelliere, which has locations in upscale Bronxville and Scarsdale, NY, and ceramic artist Alice Goldsmith. Celebrating the 20th year of the Kate Spade-Lenox relationship were Lou Scala, Kate Spade CEO Craig Leavitt, Peter Cameron, Laurie Burns, Bill Rudin and Michael Rudin. The Fishs Eddy crew visited Libbey. Jennifer Dobrowolski, Fishs Eddy; Gina Baccari, Libbey; Sara Mills, Fishs Eddy; and Serena Williams, Libbey. In the newly opened Lladró showroom, EVP Alex Caceres welcomed the Von Maur buying team including Kristina Olson, Jennifer Schwallie and Melanie Scheidler.

Portmeirion Group CEO & president Lawrence Bryan welcomed Anita Pastor and Arren Williams of Hudson’s Bay Company and their colleague from Lord & Taylor, Barbara Matistic. George and Maximillian Riedel hosted a wine tasting, and Kitchen Couture owner Sara Leibowitz was among the nearly 100 guests who attended the afternoon session.
