Wednesday 13th April Alresford and District Horticultural Society
We are holding a Coffee Morning and Plant and Seed Swap in the Meryon Hall of Alresford Community Centre on 2 April at 10am. Coffee, tea, biscuits or homemade cake will be available. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm in St Gregory’s Hall, Grange Road, Alresford. The next meeting will be on 13 April and will be the Members Only Spring Show. Sunday 19th June The Open Gardens of Broad Street in aid of the Alresford Pigs, the food bank and the Winchester Beacon (nightshelter)
A rare opportunity to visit these unique gardens on beautiful Broad Street in Alresford. These ancient burgage plots, as they were known when laid out by bishop de lucy’s developers in about 1200, are survivors of this medieval layout. Gardens Open from 11am to 5pm. Afternoon teas, tombola and plant stall. Entrance £6 per head - admits to all open gardens. Children under 16 free.
