A T H Machinery was founded in August 2019 by Tim Lane, following a career working for a large regional and national machinery company. Experience gained included working in the dealership and distributor business focussing on agricultural, ground care, construction, and garden machinery.

Based in central Hampshire, Brightside Farm, Broughton the business has one simple mission – to become the dealer of choice for your machinery needs. This includes garden machinery, estates machinery, tractors, mowers, digger hire, agricultural machinery, service sales and parts. Since the business was established in August 2019 we have secured franchises for lawn tractors, walk-behind mowers, battery-powered machinery and conventional petrol two-stroke machines. We represent brands including ECHO Power Tools, Countax, Ariens, Hustler, Husqvarna, Stiga. We are also Garden Machinery service agents for Stiga and Mountfield products.

With extensive facilities including a showroom, small machinery workshop (435 square feet) and a large machinery workshop (1500 square feet) it is a very exciting time in the business. Commenting on the business at the moment Tim Lane states “we have been really well supported by customers in the Stockbridge, Broughton, and Houghton areas and are very keen to further develop our local connections alongside developing our garden and estates machinery offering. During lockdown, we have worked as safely and remotely as we can to collect and deliver machines making the whole process easy and efficient for our customers”. As the business grows we aim to employ locally and anticipate taking on an apprentice later this year.
