It’s that time of the year again when we can all look forward to Heritage Open Days and a chance to discover the history on our doorstep, all for free. This year sees the welcome return of events you can attend in person, many of which you can just turn up to although others will need to be pre-booked. Look out for the Edible England events celebrating this year’s national theme. And for friends and family further afield, or those who are unable to visit, there will still be plenty of events available online. Here are some of this year’s festival highlights…

Friday 17 Sept 7.30pm Minari (12A) A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream.
